Aron Bender is a radio news veteran with more than 20 years experience. He is best known for his time on air as news anchor for The Tim Conway, Jr. Show. He has been an instructor in broadcast journalism at CSUN, and he both hosts and produces The News Bender podcast. Currently Aron is working at Pasadena Now.

Blake was the associate producer and board operator for The Gary and Shannon Show and Handel on the Law on KFI AM 640 before moving on to pursue his dream of becoming a high school math teacher.
Shannon is co-host of the popular The Gary and Shannon Show middays on KFI AM 640 in Los Angeles. She has won numerous awards, including two Gracie Awards in 2020, and she has brought her love of football to the pros, becoming the radio sideline reporter for the Los Angeles Chargers when the team moved north in 2017.
Gary is an award-winning radio journalist and the other half of The Gary and Shannon Show on KFI AM 640. He was born and raised in Petaluma, CA, the Chicken Farming and Wristwrestling Capitol of the World. He started working in radio while in college at Chico State, learning how to balance the benefits of college life (beer) with the responsibility of employment (early morning radio job). Gary moved on to radio jobs in Sacramento (too hot) and Seattle (too gray) before coming to Los Angeles and KFI in 2004.
Michael Horse has been working in movies and television for nearly 40 years. His most famous role is Deputy Hawk in the groundbreaking series Twin Peaks, a role he reprised in the 2017 sequel on Showtime. Michael is an award-winning Native American painter and jeweler whose works have appeared in numerous museums and galleries around the country. He started making jewelry as a teenager, and he took up the Native American art of ledger painting.
Hyapatia is a former dancer who became one of the most popular stars in the history of adult films. She received numerous awards, including a “Lifetime Achievement Award” from the Free Speech Coalition in 1995. Hyapatia later wrote music and released two albums. Jennifer hosts Wakeup Call and is news anchor for The Bill Handel Show on KFI AM 640. Her career spans more than 25 years reporting for stations up and down The Golden State. Her many awards include a National Edward R. Murrow award for sports reporting. She has been an intrepid reporter who even entered a bull riding contest at the Grand National Rodeo (it didn’t end well). Despite the run-in with the bull, JJL remains an ardent animal advocate who promotes pet adoption.
Tanis Parenteau (Métis Nation of Alberta) is an actor and producer and has guest starred on Billions, FBI: Most Wanted, Designated Survivor and House of Cards. Tanis also narrates for Penguin Random House, Audible, and Hachette Audio, and she has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting from New School for Drama. Alex is producer for the top rated The Bill Handel Show and Wakeup Call on KFI, meaning she gets up very, very early. Alex is a CSUN alum, where she was a newsroom manager, reporter and editor for the station’s daily newscast.
Wayne had an unusual career path to radio. He worked at a methadone clinic, which turned into a job in federal law enforcement, which led to a part-time gig at KFI. Makes sense, right? After hosting his own show on weekends at KFI, he retired from his day job in 2017 and became part of KFI’s top-rated The Bill Handel Show. There he provides analysis on news of the day, sports, legal matters, crime, and occasionally “heavy petting” (not what you think).
Mike is one of the first producers to work in both traditional and new media. He has over 20 years experience as a comedy writer, director and producer, including an Emmy nomination for his work on Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher. He first produced web content in 1994 - an AOL chat for Later with Greg Kinnear. We’re talking dial-up modem days. Remember that sound? December is a digital content manager for iHeartMedia in Los Angeles, providing stories and other content for stations’ websites. She is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara, an entrepreneur, and has a strong sense or art and design.
MG is a mixed indigenous voice over actor, screenwriter, and filmmaker located in Los Angeles. Her production company is "Where's Your Teepee?"
Shaun was in the original production of In the Heights on Broadway, played Frankie Valli in the 2nd National Tour of Jersey Boys, Juan in Altar Boyz Off-Broadway, and Usnavi and Sonny from In the Heights on the First National Tour as well as in the Broadway company. He recently performed in Bedlam’s production of The Crucible. His original Native American musical, Distant Thunder, will receive its first production in 2021 at Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City.
Justin is a former stand-up comedian and voice actor turned real estate agent. He has worked in radio, appeared on Showtime, and his comedy albums are heard daily on Sirius Satellite Radio. You also may recognize his voice from various apps, web videos, and as multiple video game characters in Jet Grind Radio, Crazy Taxi 3, and more.
Nick is the producer for The Gary and Shannon Show on KFI AM 640, having worked his way up from the bottom —as associate producer for The John and Ken Show. Nick is a graduate of CSUN. More importantly to Jane, they both attended the same high school, Canyon High School in Canyon Country. GO COWBOYS!
